Nina Ricci, Lacoste, Ines de la Fressange, Kenzo, what do they have in common? Well, they are famous fashion brands, they are French and now also jewelry brands.
They are all available at Presence Paris, an accessories concept store from Paris. Presence Paris is currently available at Bangsar Village 2. They are also setting their sights on Indonesia and Singapore although the timeline has not yet been established. In all likelihood according to Ryan Lee (Executive Director of Presence Concept Sdn. Bhd.) at the launch of their pop store launch at Bangsar Village 2 lower ground floor) the regional franchise holder of Presence Paris, Singapore has already kicked off with their first store at The Shoppes Marina Bay Sands. and Tangs Orchard.
There were some surprises that was unveiled, it is amazing how brands evolved their looks away from their clothing lines taking the accessories to a totally different level. As one guest commented, she came to see Nina Ricci but was in turn bewitched and pleasantly distracted by other brands like Ines de la Fressange named after and designed by the ex Chanel muse, ex model and author; Lacoste; Paul and Joe and even Kenzo. GL, the housebrand of Presence was also giving a good run for the money to their more famous counterparts.
Personally, I really like the funky Paul and Joe’s colourful tribal or ethnic collection; Lacoste was also a pleasant surprise with their leather wrapped bangles and chic metal cuffs. A far removal from their usual polo tee super casual image. The jewelery though casual have a playful edginess to them. Kenzo’s poppy range was also elegant and catchy. But ooh la la ,the creme de la creme must be Ines De La Fressange’s collection that totally represents the own eccentric and unique style and I say a definite must have!
