After spending a weekend with Adulterous Cole complete with barbeques and (alleged!) lapdances, is Cheryl Cole ready to welcome her cheating ex back with open arms?

Thing is, while she’s apparently ready to patch things up with good old Adulterous, she also has a list of demands that he has to meet before they have their wedding v2.0. We’re a little wary of this sudden leap back into romance (doesn’t the saying go ‘once a cheater, always a cheater’?), but we applaud the ex-and-maybe-future Mrs. Cole’s move in making conditions. Her list?
A family home worth almost 10 MILLION pounds, a high-tech customized recording studio, a place in Los Angeles, a top-secret wedding ceremony abroad AND a luxurious honeymoon. This is not including her specification for the ring: that it has to be more expensive than her previous two rings (worth £150,000 and £160,000 respectively).
Sorry, Ashley. It looks like unconditional love is just a tad hard to find when you’ve been outed as a love rat. Personally speaking, I would find it very hard to trust someone who cheated on me… Wouldn’t one AVOID the cause of heartbreak? Of course, there are many reasons why two people would get together: financial, emotional, there are a host of needs and wants that are fulfilled within the institution of marriage. This may shatter the idealistic views of many a hopeless romantic, but the way the world works is that not everybody who gets hitched are madly in love with each other a la Disney (I know, I was shocked too!). Second chances are lauded as being ‘good’ and ‘forgiving’ but is it truly humanly possible? Isn’t it the height of masochism to deliberately open oneself to the possibility of having one’s heart ripped apart and stomped on AGAIN? Whispers abound that Cheryl Cole wants to be a mother before she hits 30. There’s one good reason right there, the biological clock is not one that has a snooze button! But is it worth it to jump back into matrimony with Adul – ahem – Ashley? We’re not exactly sure. The question is should one get back together with a cheating spouse?
