T humbs up for Rapunzel! I love it! It is probably the funniest animation movie since Shrek and if you need a good laugh and a feel good movie, this is the one for you to catch this weekend.
Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) is a young girl who is trapped in a tower by “mother” (who of course is not her real mother since she was kidnapped as a baby) because Rapunzel’s hair possess magical powers. When the kingdom’s most wanted thief Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) happens upon her tower while trying to escape the palace guards, Rapunzel jumps at a chance to escape from her tower and see the outside world she has been longing to for so long.
This movie is most definitely worth watching, and you know you’ve got a good movie in your hands when after watching it, you feel like watching it for a second time around. So far, I’ve only seen two movies this year worthy of that claim, and now with Rapunzel, the list makes three.
Naturally, being an animation movie, you can’t expect at deep plot or intricate storyline, because it is highly for feel-good purposes only, and it is a movie that you can watch with your entire family and have a good time.
If you’re looking for something to watch this weekend and haven’t watched this movie yet, I suggest you head on our and get your tickets!
I would give this movie a four and a half star rating.
