According to The Fashionator, style icon and the very influential editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, disclosed that she has been sporting the same bob with bangs (fringe) hairstyle since she was 15 years old. Many gave different comments about her choice of hairstyle, however, after sporting this style for so long, I would say that it is her signature look.

This hair-do has been associated with many artistes for so long since the 1960s, and adopted by many popular artistes such as Madonna and Uma Thurman because it never go out of trend. However, it has become an overnight rapid trend recently after Victoria Beckham was seen with the Bob cut. Readers, would you think that she set the trend?

I’m not going to confirm or deny it, but there has been a noticeable tendency amongst the KL-ites nowadays to sport the Bob cut be it college students or modern corporate executives. Would it be a phenomenon like how stick straight hair (rebonding) and digital perm was such a popular hairstyle previously?
Maybe you have noticed this hairstyle and maybe considering of getting it. Maybe its time to try out a new hairstyle, experiment with new lengths and colors! Have no doubts, because this cut can be trimmed to suite almost any face shape, so you don’t have to worry about looking “weird”. For a more flirty do, make sure the back is slightly shorter compared to the length at the sides of your face with a wisp of fringe.
Good luck!
